Bio

My name is Patricia, and I'm studying nursing. I want to work as a midwife, and get into neonatal care, because I love babies and children, and also have decided that I don't like adults and never want to be one. This comes from having worked as a till tart at Coles for a few years. I'm twenty-one years old and I'm just a little crazy. I make ninja clouds, and, also, diversity was an old old wooden ship used during the civil war era. Trufax.

I listen to heaps of random stuff, really wierd and foreign and the lot. I love Vartinna and the Kooks and Regina Spektor and Maximo Park and Aled Jones, to name a few. Music is a huge part of my life, and one of my Life Goals is to walk through the streets of Soho, London, singing 'Werewolves of London' by Warren Zevon. You're most welcome to join me. We could have tea and cakes and tiny cucumber sandwiches afterwards.

Books are my life, basically. I'll read almost anything, provided it doesn't have a cover or a title likely to raise my mother's eyebrows and get her to ask embarassing questions. Fantasy and Sci-Fi and 'old' are where I normally stick my nose - old as in Jane Austen, the Bronte Sisters, etc etc. Currently my favourite authors include Sarah Monette, C.J. Cherryh, Diana Wynne Jones (HOWL ♥), Jane Austen, D.B.C. Pierre and Francis Burney.

Harry Potter, Star Trek (Reboot), Star Wars, and Merlin are where I hang out these days. I lean more toward slash pairings, because, hey, hot interhouse mansexing. I read fanfiction oftener than one should, and occasionally write my own (at

authorsoncrack). I like to kid myself that it's halfway decent. I've had three significant dreams in my life. One: I was defending a keep from an Uruk-Hai invasion and I kicked ass. Two: RPattz took me to a karaoke bar, and I sang Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis. Three: I was in a pub and Colin Morgan asked me to dance with him, to the sound of 'Electric Blue' by Icehouse. They're all pretty rad dreams if you ask me.
